Aus der Leidenschaft f\u00fcrs Kochen und dem vielf\u00e4ltigen Einsatz von Kr\u00e4utern und Gew\u00fcrzen in der eigenen K\u00fcche entwickelte sich f\u00fcr mich immer mehr der Wunsch nach einem eigenen Kr\u00e4utergarten.<\/span><\/p>\n

An meiner Praxis ist ein artenreicher Kr\u00e4utergarten den ich f\u00fcr Klientengespr\u00e4che aber auch f\u00fcr interessierte Gruppen\/Workshops nutze.\u00a0<\/span>In dem kleinen aber feinen Kr\u00e4utergarten wachsen heute etwa\u00a070 verschiedene Kr\u00e4uterarten und -sorten<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hier ist Alant ebenso wie Zitronenmelisse zu Hause. Eberraute, r\u00f6mische Rasenkamille und Duftpelargonien verbreiten einen wunderbaren Duft. Jedes Pfl\u00e4nzchen ist auf seine Art durch die Bl\u00fcten, Samen, Bl\u00e4tter oder Wurzeln ideal f\u00fcr den Gaumen und\/oder f\u00fcr die Gesundheit einsetzbar. <\/span><\/p>\n

Seit mehr als 4000 Jahren wird Thymian von den Menschen verwendet. Der Duft ist es meist, der die vielf\u00e4ltigsten Anwendungen begr\u00fcndet. <\/span><\/p>\n

Die \u00c4gypter benutzten Thymian\u00f6l zum Einbalsamieren, denn gemeinsam mit Salbei hat Thymian die h\u00f6chste pflanzlich desinfizierende Wirkung. Von Hippokrates wurde Thymian bei Atemwegserkrankungen eingesetzt. R\u00f6mische Soldaten erlangten Mut und Kraft durch ein Thymianbad oder \u2013tee. Im Mittelalter von Damen, f\u00fcr die im Aufbruch befindlichen Ritter, auf T\u00fcchlein gestickt, sollte Thymian die Sch\u00fcchternheit vertreiben.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In England h\u00e4lt man den Thymian f\u00fcr den Wohnort der Feen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bereits die R\u00f6mer und Griechen w\u00fcrzten K\u00e4se und Getr\u00e4nke mit Thymian \u2013 vielleicht auch wegen der nachgesagten aphrodisierenden Wirkung.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thymian ist Bestandteil von Bouquet garni und Fine Herbes. Harmoniert besonders gut mit Rosmarin. Passt zu allen Fleisch \u2013 und Kartoffelgerichten, Weich- und Hartk\u00e4se sowie Gem\u00fcse\/Fleisch Eint\u00f6pfe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nat\u00fcrlich auch zu Pizza und Pasta sowie insgesamt zur mediterranen K\u00fcche. Thymian w\u00fcrzt Pasteten und F\u00fcllungen genauso wie er auch eingelegten Oliven ein zus\u00e4tzliches Aroma verleiht. Aber auch beim Grillen darf Thymian in Saucen, Kr\u00e4uterjoghurts und Frischk\u00e4sen nicht fehlen. Ein Thymianb\u00fcndel in \u00d6l eingelegt, um hinterher mit dem \u201eThymianpinsel\u201c das Grillgut\u00a0 einzupinseln gibt einen herrlichen Geschmack.<\/span><\/p>\n
